R & R (Siagon)

February 27 - March 3 (1966)

We gave him two requests...
Finest food and the prettiest women.
He was our rickshaw driver for 4 days. Exclusively!

Victory Restaurant (Saigon)

"Boom, Boom. It's two dollars MPC a shot and 5 dollars MPC all night long."

(I don't need to tell you what I did in Saigon.)

This was the first R & R given to the Third Marine Division.
Other guys thought we were crazy.

When we returned to Chu Lai March 4th, We were helo-lifted to operation Utah.
